Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant (Team Teach Trained)

We are seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant and supportive school in Hounslow. This role is ideal for an experienced TA who is Team Teach trained and confident supporting children with a range of special educational needs, including those with challenging behaviour.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide tailored support to students with SEN, ensuring they are engaged and included in all learning activities.
Use Team Teach de-escalation strategies effectively to maintain a safe and positive learning environment.
Work closely with teachers, SENCO, and other support staff to deliver individual education plans (IEPs).
Support pupils both in and out of the classroom, including 1:1 and small group interventions.
Foster a nurturing and inclusive environment that promotes independence and confidence.
Requirements:
Team Teach trained (essential).
Previous experience working with children with SEN, particularly those with behavioural needs.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
A calm, resilient, and positive approach to working with children.
Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative team.
