Job Description
As a Payroll Manager, you will be responsible for:
* Overseeing all aspects of the payroll function for the organisation.
* Ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll updates including new hires, terminations, and changes to pay rates.
* Developing and implementing payroll policies and procedures to ensure operational efficiency.
* Ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal laws and regulations.
* Resolving payroll discrepancies and answering employee payroll queries.
* Coordinating with HR department to ensure correct employee data.
* Managing and preparing reports for upper management, finance department, and auditors.
* Leading, guiding, and managing the payroll team to provide accurate, timely, and professional service.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Group Payroll Manager should have:
* A degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
* Proven experience in a similar role within the industrial/manufacturing industry.
* Strong understanding of payroll and payroll tax laws.
* Excellent leadership and team management skills.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
