About the TeamThe e-commerce industry has seen tremendous growth in recent years and has become a hotly contested space amongst leading Internet companies, and its future growth cannot be underestimated. We're currently seeking a Logistics Network Planning and Quality Control Manager to join our Europe Logistics Operations team, responsible for CBT solutions. Responsibilities - Responsible for UK & Pan EU first mile collection and consolidation operations, creating forecasting methods, modeling physical collection capacity, planning forward strategy, and developing cost solution designs. - Working with cross-functional teams and external suppliers to consume data and supply data, and improve operational intelligence, model capacity and utilisation requirements within the First Mile space of logistics. - Identify pain points, recommend optimal solutions and optimize processes and deliver against KPI's. Build procedures and systems to gain better performance for platforms, merchants, consumers, creators. - Solutions include but are not limited to fulfillment system features, supplier platforms, driver facing applications, internal shipment tracking software, consolidation operations network design, warehouse management system. - Coordinate with internal and external teams, write business recommendations to propose change and ensure designed solutions are launched as planned with quality in mind.
Minimum Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree or above, solid years of working experience in the UK/EU e-commerce warehousing and fulfillment industry. Familiar with First Mile, Consolidation, Middle Mile or E2E Warehouse Operations. - A previous stakeholder working or driving system changes, building from scratch is a bonus, including forecasting platforms for capacity planning, driver applications and FM or MM network design. - E-commerce thinking, customer-oriented, spirit of exploration, strong sense of responsibility, strong data analysis skill and project management skill, and rich experience in cross-functional communication and coordination. - Data-oriented with experience in creating logical planning models based on historical learnings, a preferred skillset in SQL or Python. - Able to write comprehensive documentation, having prepared business cases with recommendations for significant changes is a must - (Case Review/Light BRD might be requested on interview). Preferred Qualifications: - Data-centric with strong analytical skills: capable of building models to identify trends, use historical learnings for future planning, and assess and mitigate risks using data-driven decisions. - Excellent problem-solving skills: capable of identifying, assessing, writing and discussing risks with recommendations for improvement with the intention of solution design and delivering results. - Managing product lifecycle: Proven background or skillset to build or support product development teams, strategic forward thinking with experience ownership of metrics and roadmaps with mid/long term goals. - Excellent stakeholder management skills: Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external contractors to set clear expectations, align project priorities and milestones, drive accountability for metric and ops KPI's. - Strong change management skills: Capable of processing requests, adapting processes, handling timelines and building supporting mechanisms for change.
