Salary: £32,000£35,000 (depending on experience) Hours: 37.5 hours per week, MondayFriday We are seeking a highly skilled Finance & Business Intelligence Analyst to join our Finance Team. This is a key role within a fast-paced, multicost centre environment, supporting critical financial processes, reporting, and data analysis to help drive business performance. You will work closely with the Finance Director, providing accurate financial insights and contributing to continuous improvements across reporting and operational functions. Main Responsibilities Transfer of sales data from the billing system to the accounts package Calculation of product royalties Conduct control checks prior to stock invoice sign-off Prepare and complete consumable stock valuation schedules Assist with accruals and prepayment postings Support the Finance Director in maintaining the accuracy and timeliness of data within the BI platform Design and create reports to drive commercial performance and company objectives Assist in preparing and distributing management accounts and reporting schedules within strict deadlines Maintain variance reports with explanations against budget and prior year Prepare and update Gross Profit analysis Identify revenue opportunities and cost-saving insights Support the Operations team with KPI monitoring Recommend improvements to reporting processes to increase accuracy and speed Maintain daily communication with the Finance Director regarding operational performance Provide insights on financial decisions, variances, and results Required: 23 years experience in a Finance Team within a high-volume, multi cost-centre environment Strong computer literacy, with advanced MS Office skills (Excel VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, etc., and PowerPoint) Experience using Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio (or similar) Knowledge of Microsoft D365 Finance & Operations Qualifications AAT qualification desirable Minimum 2 years experience in a similar Finance role (Qualified by Experience accepted) Personal Attributes Outgoing, confident communicator Excellent time management and able to meet strict deadlines High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy Flexible, team-oriented approach Strong sense of confidentiality and integrity Willingness to learn, grow and support business objectives If you are a detail-driven finance professional with strong analytical skills and a passion for data, reporting, and continuous improvement, we would love to hear from you.
