Overview
We are looking for a consultant to join our group of engineers and experts focused on the Sustainability activities, in Filton.
Responsibilities
* Reporting to the Senior Sustainability Engineer, you will be accountable for evaluating and improving the environmental performance of technologies, products or industrial sites.
* Maintain your knowledge on the latest methodological developments and on all emerging themes in the fields of LCA, eco-design, circular economy, mitigation/adaptation to climate change, decarbonisation challenges, etc.
* You might also be responsible for supporting workshops/training sessions in your areas of expertise.
Experience Required
* You hold an engineering degree or equivalent with minimum 1-3 years of experience ideally with specialisation in Sustainability/Environment;
* Experience in the use of LCA software (e.g. GaBi, SimaPro) is desirable;
* Team player, keen to share their knowledge and work collaboratively within a fairly small team;
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously;
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
* Experience of Project Management is desirable;
* Fluent in English (verbal and written).
* This position may require a security clearance or will require being eligible for clearance by the recognised authorities

* As part of a consultancy, as required the successful candidate will support work outside of the perimeter detailed above, such as bid work and the wider Airbus Protect’s project portfolio in the Safety and Sustainability domain.
