Responsibilities
As a Electrical Remedial Engineer for BES Electrical, you will carry out electrical testing within the social housing industry in the North West and Yorkshire area, including domestic/communal areas and any associated remedial works identified.
* Undertake high‑quality electrical repairs and remedial works following inspection (distribution board changes, RCDs and socket changes).
* Participate in small projects such as EV installations.
* Comply with company standards of work performance, electrical policies and procedures.
* Ensure implementation and compliance with company Health and Safety policies and procedures.
* Utilise our CRM system and reporting software to accurately record electrical documentation.
* Liaise with customers and supply‑chain members to provide an excellent service.
* Maintain van stocks and provide information to improve first‑time fixes in the area you work within.

Qualifications and Requirements
* NVQ Level 3 Qualification in electrical installation work (e.g., C&G 2330, 2360, 2357, 2365).
* City & Guilds 2391 Inspection and Testing or equivalent (2394 / 2395).
* Positive, diverse and inclusive attitude towards internal and external customers and colleagues.
* Flexible approach to working, including willingness to work overtime during busy periods.
* Availability to work nights one week per month.
* Hard‑working, conscientious electrician who takes satisfaction from delivering a great service to our client base.
* Good computer literacy.
* Full driving licence.

Location
The successful candidate will live within North London and be comfortable travelling across the Home Counties.
