Starting Salary £25,000
Our very successful client is looking for a Transport Administrator - ideally with a background in logistics/transport. Good MS Office, Excel, Word and PowerPoint knowledge is required.
*Flexibility with working hours is required.
Shifts are: 6.00am - 2.30pm and 9.00am - 5.30pm on a weekly rotation. 1 hour for lunch.
Main Responsibilities:
* Coordinate all deliveries from the transport hub for outbound / inbound loads
* Ensure all deliveries are dispatched from internal system
* Ensure all off hires are booked into multiple depots
* Prepare dispatch documents and purchase orders.
* Authorize invoices / generate freight charges
* Collate / Manage all POD documents from third party hauliers
* Monthly reporting on own vehicles
* Provision of daily and weekly workloads / booking in details for own vehicles
* Assisting in the management of vehicle flow in the depot whilst reporting inefficiencies
* Log and manage internal complaint process to ensure fast and effective resolution with preventative measures
* Manage and ensure accuracy of various transport logs & processes
* Communication of all key information to the operations and sales teams and external customers.
* Collaborating with and supporting all regions and functions.
* Develop relationships with key clients internally and externally
Collaboration:
* Communication with Transport / Logistics and Customer Service to update Transport log
* Liaise with Logistics to determine and plan capacity for urgent / last minute requirements
* Managing alterations to orders with Customer Service team
* Reporting of KPIs including waiting times, loading times, failed deliveries, and third-party expenditure
Professional Requirements:
