We’re currently recruiting 9 people to join this brand-new, long-term funded programme, with roles available in either Brent or Hillingdon. The role: You’ll be trained to become an IPS Employment Specialist, working in the community to help people with mental health conditions or physical disabilities find and sustain employment. You’ll manage a small caseload of around 25 participants, providing 1:1 support that includes job searching, CV building, interview prep, and in-work coaching. You’ll also spend time engaging local employers to create new job opportunities. This isn’t an office-based role, you’ll hot-desk across partner sites such as Job Centres, Council Offices, and local NHS Trusts. At these sites, you’ll meet participants for 1:1 appointments, as well as work closely with Jobcentre Plus staff and health professionals to collaborate on employment plans and wraparound support.
