A well-established business based in Hull is currently on the lookout for a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their finance team on a permanent basis. As a Purchase Ledger Clerk, you will be responsible for: Processing a high volume of supplier invoices accurately and efficiently Matching, batching, and coding invoices to the appropriate purchase orders Reconciling supplier statements and resolving any discrepancies Preparing and processing payment runs Maintaining accurate records and ensuring all data is up to date Liaising with internal departments and external suppliers to handle queries Supporting month-end processes where required To be successful in this Purchase Ledger role, you will ideally have: Previous experience in a high-volume purchase ledger or accounts payable environment Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to tasks Good working knowledge of accounting systems and Excel Excellent communication skills for dealing with suppliers and colleagues The ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines This excellent opportunity is easily commutable from Beverley, Cottingham, Hessle, Brough, Hedon, and the surrounding East Yorkshire areas.
