Science Teacher – Full-Time – Manchester Secondary School
Are you a passionate and dedicated Science teacher looking to join a dynamic school where your enthusiasm for STEM can truly inspire students? A well-established secondary school in Manchester is seeking a committed Science teacher to join their thriving Science department from September 2025.
This is a fantastic opportunity to teach across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, covering Biology, Chemistry, and Physics. You will play a key role in delivering engaging, practical lessons that spark curiosity and develop scientific thinking and inquiry skills.
What you will do:
* Plan and deliver stimulating lessons aligned with the national curriculum and exam specifications
* Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that motivates all students
* Support students’ progress through targeted feedback and assessment strategies
* Lead practical science investigations safely and effectively, ensuring students develop hands-on skills
* Collaborate with the Science team to develop schemes of work and share best practice
* Encourage students to participate in STEM clubs, competitions, and enrichment activities
* Contribute to whole-school initiatives promoting STEM careers and aspirations

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
