An established and highly respected law firm in Salisbury is seeking an experienced Conveyancing Legal Secretary to join their busy and friendly Residential Property team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a strong background in conveyancing support who takes pride in being organised, reliable, and client-focused.
Key Responsibilities:
* Providing full administrative and secretarial support to residential property fee earners
* Typing letters, contracts, leases, and legal documents (audio typing experience essential)
* Liaising professionally with clients, estate agents, solicitors, and mortgage lenders
* Preparing and submitting SDLT returns and Land Registry applications
* Handling pre- and post-completion documentation
* Carrying out local authority and other searches
* Opening new files and preparing standard quotes for property transactions
* Maintaining accurate records and assisting in managing key dates and deadlines
Candidate Requirements:
* Minimum 2 years of experience in a conveyancing legal support role
* Strong typing and IT skills, including case management systems
* Excellent communication, organisation, and multitasking abilities
* A proactive, team-oriented approach with a keen eye for detail
* Confidence handling client communications and managing a busy workload
