Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Fabricator, located in Kingston Upon Hull. The Fabricator will be responsible for reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints, assembling metal structures, welding components, inspecting and testing products for quality and functionality, and collaborating with engineers and other team members to ensure project specifications are met. The role involves operating hand tools, machinery, and equipment needed for fabrication tasks, maintaining a safe and organized work environment, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Qualifications
* Experience in metal fabrication, including assembling and welding components
* Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints
* Skilled in operating hand tools, machinery, and fabrication equipment
* Knowledge of industry standards, safety regulations, and quality control procedures
* Strong attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and teamwork capabilities
* Relevant certifications or apprenticeships in welding, fabrication, or mechanical engineering are a plus
* Prior experience in industries such as food, pharmaceutical, recycling, construction, or caravanning is advantageous
