About the Role
We are recruiting an experienced and compassionate Senior Residential Support Worker to join our Ofsted-registered Childrens Home in Derby. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled Senior Support Worker who wants to make a real difference and progress within a supportive, well-structured team.
You will support children and young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties, complex needs, or trauma backgrounds, while leading shifts and mentoring staff to deliver high-quality, compliant care.

1. Creating a safe, nurturing, and stable home environment
2. Building strong, trusting relationships with children and young people
3. Supporting emotional wellbeing, independence, education, and daily routines
4. Leading shifts, supporting staff, and maintaining high standards of care
5. Following and updating care plans, risk assessments, and behaviour strategies
6. Accurately recording daily logs, incidents, and safeguarding concerns
