You will work as part of the Older Peoples Psychological Services, alongside Community Mental Health Teams based in East Kent. You will focus mainly on South Kent Coast Memory services and enhancing psychological interventions for Older People in South Kent Coast.
The role involves neuropsychological assessments as part of dementia diagnostic processes, as well as individual and group therapeutic work. There are opportunities to work with families, carers, colleagues from other professional backgrounds, and external agencies.
You will have opportunities to contribute to service evaluation and audit projects. You will benefit from high-quality clinical and managerial supervision. Participation in CPD activities and peer support is encouraged.
The post holder will be part of the Kent & Medway Older Peoples Psychological Service, which includes clinical psychologists, psychotherapists, art therapists, music therapists, counselling psychologists, trainee psychologists, clinical associate psychologists, assistant psychologists, and psychology placement students.
