Position: Class Teacher
We are looking for a creative and enthusiastic primary-trained class teacher/Year 2 Teacher to join our dynamic team and inspire young learners to achieve their full potential. This role offers an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact in students' lives and contribute to their educational journey within a supportive and collaborative school environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons that cater to the needs of Year 2 students, promoting a love for learning and academic progress.
2. Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment where every child feels valued, respected, and motivated to succeed.
3. Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support to help each child reach their full potential.
4. Collaborate with colleagues to plan and implement a broad and balanced curriculum aligned with national requirements.
5. Build positive relationships with students, parents, and carers, promoting open communication and partnership working.
6. Participate actively in the wider school community, including extracurricular activities, events, and initiatives.
Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Experience teaching in Key Stage 1, particularly Year 2 (desirable but not essential)
* Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and effective teaching strategies for primary education
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues
* Passion for education and a commitment to providing high-quality teaching and learning experiences for all students
* Proactive and collaborative approach to working as part of a team
