The Trust Accounting team provides sophisticated trustee, trust administration and trust accounting services. We specialise in the production of accounts for Trusts and Charities as well as providing administration services to Trusts. Our clients are typically High Net Wealth (HNW) and Ultra High Net Wealth (UHNW) individuals or families, each of whom are unique and receive a precisely tailored service. What You’ll Do: The role of Assistant Trust Accountant involves assisting with the preparation of trust accounts and tax returns for UK and non-UK trusts, estates, and high net worth individuals, as well as administering these trusts and liaising with trustees and advisors. As an Assistant Trust Accountant, the day to day tasks will encompass: Assisting with the preparation of accounts and tax returns for trusts, charities, estates and high net worth individuals The administration of these trusts, including liaison with trustees and other advisors Assisting in the preparation of tax pool computations for offshore trusts Assisting in the preparation of trust accounts and trust tax returns for UK and non-UK trusts and estates Administration of trusts, charities and estates Assisting in the preparation of trust and individual inheritance tax returns What We’re Looking For: Previous bookkeeping or back-office experience The ability to demonstrate written and verbal communication skills Well organised and the ability to manage different priorities The desire to always produce work of the highest quality on a timely basis Strong IT skills The initiative to work independently or as part of a team Interested in an accounting career Areas that will differentiate the candidate: Experience within financial services, such as fund administration/accounting Knowledge of more technical financial instruments, such as private equity or derivatives etc. Client service experience, especially with private clients Why Join Us: At Rawlinson & Hunter LLP, we offer a supportive and inclusive environment that encourages professional growth and a competitive salary with a generous benefits package.
