We have an exciting opportunity for a newly created role as Transport Admin Team Leader at Widnes to oversee the execution of the Transport Admin Team and provide support/cover for the bulk planning and provide admin support to all areas of the transport team.
Key Responsibilities
* Ensure the Transport Admin team is suitably trained and supported to complete all daily tasks
* Provide admin support to the transport planning team
* Liaise with customer services/account managers/MDM to ensure the execution of all plans runs smoothly
* Liaise with operations and transport managers
* Provide holiday/sickness cover for the bulk planning
* Provide support/cover for the Transport Co‑Ordinator particularly related to failed deliveries
* Provide support/cover for the fleet administrator particularly related to purchase orders
We Are Looking For
* Team lead/supervisory experience
* A hands on/practical approach
* Ideally, experience of working within a Transport team
* Good computer and communication skills
* Someone who works well in a team
