We are delighted to be recruiting for the newly created role of Legacy Officer in the Home’s Fundraising Team.
As a Legacy Officer you will play a pivotal part in growing this important source of income which comprises bothlegacy administration and legacy marketing. Legacies play a vital role at the Home, funding on average 1/3 ofour annual income and you will support the implementation of a legacy strategy, aimed at growing income.
You will collaborate closely with the Legacy and Individual Giving Manager and Head of Fundraising to developstrategy and drive income growth, while delivering concise reports on key performance indicators. Yourmeticulous attention to detail will shine as you manage the day-to-day administration of our legacy caseload,handling complex gifts and resolving any issues. Compliance with legal and regulatory requirements will besecond nature to you, as you ensure all funds are administered correctly in alignment with donors' wishes.Collaborating seamlessly with various teams, you'll ensure smooth operations, accurate record-keeping, andinsightful analysis. Leveraging your marketing prowess, you'll engage with stakeholders, cultivaterelationships, and develop innovative approaches to boost supporter loyalty and engagement.
We're looking for someone with expertise in Microsoft packages, estate administration, and CRM databases. Youshould excel in building relationships, delivering supporter communications, and assessing legacy activities.Strong communication, research, and numeracy skills are essential, along with a knack for relationshipmanagement and attention to detail. A positive attitude, diplomacy, and adaptability are also vital.

The Campaigns and Communications Officer role is a great opportunity to use your communications skills and knowledgeof policy in Scotland to help tackle the nature and climate emergency.
RSPB Scotland is Scotland’s largest nature conservation charity. The campaigns team works across the organisation andwith external coalitions and partners to build broad public support for our policy priorities. The successfulcandidate will work closely with parliamentary and communications colleagues.
Forthcoming policy priorities include legislation aimed at restoring biodiversity. The successful candidate willcoordinate internal and external stakeholders and support the development and implementation of activitydesigned to mobilise people for nature and climate.
