A leading global consultancy is looking for an experienced AI Director to join their growing practice, working exclusively with large-scale Insurance clients at the forefront of AI-enabled transformation.
This is a senior, client-facing role where you'll work directly with strategic Insurance clients to understand their business challenges and design solutions that leverage the latest advances in Agentic AI, Generative AI and Data Science. You'll oversee delivery across the full project lifecycle, build and mentor a high-performing team of data scientists, engineers and analysts, and help shape the firm's proposition in the Insurance market.
What the role involves
Working closely with Insurance clients to translate complex business problems into practical, production-grade AI solutions. Leading and developing a multidisciplinary team of AI professionals. Managing engagements end-to-end — scope, timelines, budgets, and outcomes. Contributing to business development, client relationships, and strategic partnerships. Staying ahead of the curve on emerging AI technology and bringing new thinking to client work.
What they're looking for
Deep Insurance industry experience across one or more sub-market domains. A strong track record of delivering AI solutions at scale in production environments. Fluency across AI technologies including Generative AI, Agentic AI and cloud-based platforms. The leadership presence to guide both technical and non-technical teams. Commercial awareness and the ability to connect business problems to technical solutions. Must also have experience in business development and leading on bids.
