To undertake training as an Apprentice Plasterer and to assist in all Joinery repairs and all refurbishment work to Council properties; to assist with the promotion, delivery and integration of the Council’s key objectives; specifically in relation to the Community Plan, Shared Commitments, Single Outcome Agreement and Best Value. The Individual
To apply for these posts you must be aged between 16-24 or up to age 29 if you are care experienced or have a disability. There are 2 full time temporary posts based at Burnside Street, Kilmarnock. These posts are temporary for 4 years to allow the successful candidate to complete their apprenticeship. Start date is August 2026. The starting rate for these posts is £13.45 per hour, moving onto a percentage of the relevant grade in year 4. As part of the recruitment and selection procedure, if your application reaches the next stage you will be required to attend for a skills test and a formal interview. ** THE SKILLS TESTING AND FORMAL INTERVIEWS WILL TAKE PLACE BETWEEN MONDAY 1 JUNE TO FRIDAY 26 JUNE 2026.
