We have an exciting opportunity for a Healthcare Assistant to join our Primary Care team at HMP Dovegate, a Category B men's prison located in Staffordshire.
Hours
The site currently offers 37.5 hours per week:
* 3 long days a week: 0645 am - 1815 pm
* 0745 am - 1815 pm (weekends and BH)
* One shift ending at 2015
* 1 in 3 weekends required
Salary
This position is full-time, with an annual salary up to £28,690 depending on experience.

* Support the registered nurse in implementing care plans, promoting safe patient care
* Develop and apply new skills to enhance clinical service delivery
* Second checking medications, assisting with clinics, supporting first responses

Qualifications and Experience
* NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent in Health and Social Care
* Compassionate, non-judgmental approach
* Excellent communication and IT skills
* Ability to work unsupervised in a busy environment
* Experience in hospital, community, or prison settings is desirable but not essential
