ASC Specialist – Kirkby Start Date: October 2025 Contract: Full-time (Monday to Friday, school hours) Pay Rate: £13.75 - £14.50 per hour Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting for an unqualified ASC (Autism Spectrum Condition) Specialist to support children in a primary or secondary school setting in the Kirkby area, starting in October 2025. This role is perfect for individuals passionate about working with children with ASC and eager to develop their skills in a specialist support capacity. Previous experience working with SEN is preferred, no formal qualifications are necessary, but a positive attitude, patience, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn are essential. In this role, you will support children with ASC by assisting class teachers, providing one-to-one or small group support tailored to individual needs, helping to manage behaviour, and creating a calm and safe learning environment. You may also assist with sensory breaks, social skills development, and help prepare resources suited to pupils with additional needs. This is a full-time, term-time position offering excellent practical experience working with children on the autism spectrum.
