Our client were formed in the 1980's to both develop and manufacture recess tooling for the world's fastener producing industry. They supply to the Aerospace, Construction, Automotive, white goods and electronics industries.
Through growth they are seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to join the team on a permanent basis.
Experienced CNC Milling (3+2 axis) and CNC Turning
Must be fully capable of reading engineering drawings and using a variety of inspection equipment. Must have CNC Turning experience and 5 axis CNC Milling experience.
Job role, key elements…
Tool Room
• CNC Lathe programming and machining of cylindrical hobs and associated electrodes (FANUC Control)
• Pressing of hobs using Master Tooling (training will be given)
• General machining (conventional lathe, slitting, surface grinding)
• Working down to tolerances of 0.01mm
• Small batch sizes
5-Axis Milling • Setting and operating Hurco VM10 5 Axis Milling Machine
• CAD/Cam off-line programming via Autodesk Fusion 360
• Working down to tolerances of 0.02mm
• Bespoke items
40 hours per week, 07:30 until 16:00 33 Days Holiday On site parking
