The Hospice at Home team at Arthur Rank Hospice Charity provides end of life care to palliative patients within their own homes across Cambridgeshire. The team employs a number of nurses and health care assistants to provide hands on care and symptom management to palliative patients.
Due to growth within the team, we have an opportunity for someone to join as an Assistant Administrator! This is a full-time role, working 37.5 hours per week and will be based at the Alan Hudson Treatment Centre in Wisbech. For the right candidate we would consider funding a course through the apprenticeship levy
The Assistant Administrator will support the work of the Hospice at Home Administrator with completion of day-to-day administration tasks, contributing to the effective running of the Hospice at Home service across Cambridgeshire. The role will also involve providing cover for the Alan Hudson Centre reception.
To be successful in this role candidates must have a good level of numeracy and literacy, along with a knowledge of administrative practices and procedures.
This role will work as part of our friendly team where you will be fully supported, you will be able to make a real difference to the care our patients and their families receive.
Please note that this role is subject to a standard level DBS check.
Salary: £24,570
As a Charity with limited funds, it is usual practice for new starters to commence on the minimum of the salary band for the role. Exceptionally, and only for candidates demonstrating significant strengths relevant to the role, we may be able to negotiate on this.
