Join the Head Office team as an Employee Relations Specialist responsible for leading employment‑related topics, policy advising, and case management at a dynamic growing organisation.
Responsibilities
* Support managers with the administration of employment law related processes.
* Identify Employment Law risks and, when necessary, escalated to the Head of Employment Law & HR Compliance.
* Coach new disciplinary managers on Employment Law policy and best practice.
* Analyse trends and ensure compliance through review of the Case Management Tool and provide reporting to the Team Manager Employee Relations.
* Provide support to the local HR team on employee relations administration topics.
* Provide advisory guidance and coaching on Employment Law policy (performance improvement, disciplinaries, grievances, equal opportunities, long‑term absence management, restructures, immigration) to enable managers to deliver good people management practices.
* Develop and implement local measures (e.g. management up‑skilling) to limit legal and internal non‑compliance risk.
* Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of statutory requirements and stakeholder management.
* Communicate effectively in writing and verbally.
* Use Microsoft Office and HR software proficiently.
* Apply influence and collaboration skills with stakeholders.
Qualifications
* A legal qualification and CIPD Level 7 (with specialist or advanced Employment Law units) desirable.
* Significant Employee Relations experience advising middle management and up‑to‑date labour law knowledge.
* Understanding of best practice and ACAS codes.
* Experience in a retail or hospitality environment advantageous.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Strong Microsoft Office and HR software proficiency.
* Ability to collaborate and share best practice with stakeholders through influencing skills.
