Job Description
1. Develop and implement business development and trade activation initiatives to support key retailers and drive sales growth.
2. Collaborate with the sales team to execute B2B and B2B2C initiatives (online and offline).
3. Identify and propose affinity marketing opportunities aligned with the company's brand values.
4. Assist in planning and executing marketing activities and events for key retailers.
5. Support the implementation and review of business development strategies for selected customers.
6. Develop POS materials, merchandise, and branding for retail and product categories.
7. Ensure all Trade Marketing initiatives are integrated into internal communication plans.
8. Work indirectly with customers through account managers, providing guidance and support.
9. Collaborate with marketing teams for a cohesive approach.
10. Work with the BI Analyst to assess the effectiveness of marketing activities and monitor competitors.
11. Manage budgets set by the Marketing Manager, ensuring cost-effectiveness.
12. Oversee external agencies, including briefing, performance tracking, and measuring service levels.
13. Monitor and evaluate the success of trade marketing activities using KPIs.
14. Ensure consistent application of the brand identity.
The Successful Applicant
* Professional qualification in marketing or a related field (preferred).
* A minimum of 3 years experience in a UK marketing team.
* Solid understanding of the full marketing mix.
* Experience in B2C and B2B2C retail/trade marketing.
* Proven background in customer marketing and business development.
* Experience in agency management or working within an agency environment.
* Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal) with strong attention to detail.
* Up-to-date knowledge of marketing trends and best practices.
* Ability to manage multiple projects and workstreams simultaneously.
* Proactive, innovative, and able to take initiative.
