The Role
You will be part of a committed team within a curriculum area that attracts large student numbers. The team is focused on providing the best learning experiences through innovative teaching in a well-resourced environment. The role involves marketing, delivering, and assessing a range of courses across Health and Social Care, including levels 1-3 and T Level Health. Responsibilities also include course leadership and internal verification.
Main Duties
1. Plan teaching, learning, and assessment activities using college formats to ensure effective education.
2. Deliver high-quality teaching to achieve at least a good or outstanding standard, ensuring high success rates.
3. Assess learners' work accurately, both formatively and summatively, against awarding body criteria to ensure qualification achievement.
4. Adhere to college quality assurance procedures to meet internal and external audit standards.
5. Utilize resources effectively to promote positive learning outcomes and uphold high professional standards.
