Insolvency Director or Partner
Location: Birmingham
Numero Recruitment are actively recruiting for Insolvency & Restructuring professionals to join a specialist Insolvency & Restructuring firm in the West Midlands. Joining as a Director or Partner, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients and making a significant contribution towards the overall future development and success of the practice.
The Role:
* Developing your existing referral network and generating new contacts by organising and attending various marketing events.
* Take a lead role in both insolvency and advisory assignments, providing good quality technical, analytical, communication as well as strong interpersonal skills.
* Work closely with other offices across the UK on ad hoc advisory assignments.
* To manage a portfolio of corporate cases in accordance with the firm’s standard procedures and relevant compliance.
* Brief staff on the client’s business and the pre- assignment instructions, to supervise and control the completion of work and to undertake ‘on the job’ training and appraisals where appropriate.
* Develop a detailed knowledge of the firm’s specialist services and to undertake special work in response to client needs where appropriate.
* Closely monitor the profitability and recoverability of work in progress and to bill clients on a timely basis.
* Maintain an advanced level of technical knowledge through appropriate reading and courses and to fulfill
the Institute’s CPE requirements.
* Assist in recruitment, training and marketing activities as required.
Requirements:
* You will be either ACCA /ACA / JIEB qualified and experienced in Restructuring, Advisory and the Insolvency sector.
* Previous experience of taking insolvency appointments
* Proven experience in client handling and contact development.
* Experience of Managing people and case management skills.
* You will need to be able to demonstrate a strong commercial outlook
* It is essential that you have a network of professional contacts and a track record of winning work.
