Job Title: Claims Field Consultant
Salary: £59,850 - £73,150 (depending on experience)
Location: Peterborough and Lincolnshire
Hours: Full Time
Working Pattern: Remote. Please note: We have sites in Halifax, Leeds, and South Wales—frequent travel to these sites for events and training will be required.

About this opportunity:
We have an exciting opportunity to join us as a Field Consultant in our Hybrid Claims Management Teams across the UK. We manage a portfolio of claims up to £50,000, delivering excellent customer outcomes, outstanding technical claims management, and effective cost control.
You'll support customers through remote claims management and home visits, providing face-to-face support when needed. You'll be part of an end-to-end claims management team, working collaboratively with Hybrid Claim Owners and our suppliers. Your responsibilities will include validating and resolving claims across all policy cover areas, assessing building damage, creating repair schedules, and managing customer expectations.
This role is remote and covers a specific region across the UK.
Your accountabilities will include:
* Proactively managing customer visits and remote claims management to deliver effective customer outcomes, collaborating with Hybrid Claim Owners across your unit.
* Delivering effective, efficient site work validated by accompanied visits and quality assessments, including identifying and acting on customer vulnerabilities, aligned with health and safety risk policies.
* Managing competing priorities and diverse demands of multiple customer claims, ensuring claims are actioned effectively and progressing towards resolution.
* Completing building inspections as part of first-visit activities, collecting and analyzing data from site inspections, photos, videos, and other sources.
* Using individual claim data to support workload management and customer purpose delivery.
* Working collaboratively within your Hybrid Claims Unit to develop technical knowledge, customer, and claim management skills.

What you'll need for these roles:
* Full and current driving license
* Insurance claims qualifications (CII/CILA) or willingness to undertake them
* Experience in general insurance claims with detailed knowledge of policies and claim handling philosophies
* Knowledge of building construction techniques, common causes of building failure/defects, and repairs
* Knowledge of health and safety requirements for site work
We're looking for people who have:
* Excellent oral and written communication skills to support customers and deliver decisions with compassion across various media
* Ability and experience in identifying and supporting vulnerable customers, including action planning and tailored claims settlement solutions
* High degree of personal organization and proactive oversight of customer claims, especially during surge periods
