About the Role: We’re looking for a Senior Data Analyst to own and elevate the way data informs decisions across Montu UK. This is a high-impact role where you’ll move beyond reporting — driving insights, building scalable data solutions, and shaping how the business uses data to grow. You’ll work closely with senior stakeholders and leadership, turning ambiguous questions into actionable strategies and measurable outcomes. If you’re a self-starter who thrives on uncovering opportunities through data and enjoys influencing direction, this role is for you. Key Responsibilities Own the analytical agenda: Identify, prioritise, and lead analytical projects that have measurable business impact — from defining success metrics to delivering insights that drive change. Transform ambiguity into clarity: Work with stakeholders to define problems, frame hypotheses, and design robust analytical approaches to answer key business questions. Build scalable insight products: Develop and automate dashboards, KPIs, and analytical tools that empower teams to self-serve and make data-driven decisions. Influence strategic decisions: Translate complex findings into clear, actionable recommendations, influencing decision-making at senior levels. Champion data quality and best practice: Partner with the data engineering and operations teams to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and usability across the business. Mentor and elevate others: Share analytical best practices, coach junior analysts, and help foster a data-driven culture within the organisation. About You Experience: 5 years of hands-on analytical experience, ideally in a fast-paced or scaling environment, with a proven ability to take ownership and deliver high-impact insights. Technical: Advanced SQL and Excel/Google Sheets proficiency; strong experience with BI tools (e.g. Looker, Tableau, Power BI). Analytical toolkit: Skilled at structuring complex problems, applying statistical reasoning, and telling compelling data stories. Communication: Confident engaging with and influencing stakeholders at all levels, including executives. Mindset: Highly proactive, curious, and commercially aware — you anticipate opportunities rather than wait for requests. Bonus: Experience with Python or R for more advanced analytical work (e.g. segmentation, predictive modelling, experimentation).
