HR Business Partner Artigarvan, County Tyrone Lakeland Dairies Co-operative Society Limited (The Group) is the second largest dairy processor on the island of Ireland. The Groups Agribusiness Division (Lakeland Agri) operates a state-of-the-art Animal Feed Manufacturing Facility and is a leading and innovative provider of the highest quality feeds and agricultural inputs to dairy, beef, and sheep farmers across the north and south of Ireland. Applications are invited for the above position that will be based at our Artigarvan Site in County Tyrone. The Role: As a key member of our Group HR Team, the successful applicant will act as a trusted advisor and strategic, operational partner to the business. Working closely with our Head of HR NI/UK and other HR colleagues, this influential individual will support a consistent and transparent adoption of people policies and practices across the business and our Artigarvan site. A strong and confident communicator, our HR Business Partner will thrive as the lead HR ambassador for their site while building trusted and key relationships with all stakeholders and employees. Key responsibilities will include (Not limited to): Provide a professional and dedicated HR advisory service to the Artigarvan site and other Lakeland Dairy sites if/when required. Support and guide the investigation and resolution of employee relations issues including grievances and disciplinary matters. Develop and maintain collaborative and productive relationships with departments within the business, establishing professional credibility and trust. Support with site recruitment requirements including interview involvement, job description creation and Company onboarding process. Promote best practice, people processes and systems for Performance Management and Employee Wellbeing, as part of a HR approach to Continuous Improvement. Work alongside the Group Talent Team, supporting the implementation of the talent strategy including succession planning management, Personnel Development Plans (PDP) and career development processes. Design and implement initiatives to develop and promote employee engagement andcommunications. Support the Diversity, Equality and Inclusion agenda across all HR processes (recruitment, talent management, culture initiatives etc.) to ensure employees feel valued for their contribution at all times. Action and support specific HR projects as required to support the delivery of the overall Business and People Strategy Update HR policies and procedures in line with best practice, and relevant employmentlegislation and in collaboration with HR Business Partners across NI sites. The person: 3rd level qualification in Human Resource Management, Level 5 CIPD or working towards this. Strong experience from within a similar role. Experience from within a busy HR role, performing a range of administrative duties, working to tight deadlines and advising others in NI/UK legislation. Proficient in Microsoft Office Packages. Excellent attention to detail, communication and relationship management skills. A postgraduate degree in HR management, CIPD level 7, experience from within a manufacturing environment and/or experience of working in a unionized environment would be advantageous.
