Commercial Gas Service Engineer
Richard Irvin FM Limited, a part of the RSK Group, is recruiting a full‑time, permanent Commercial Gas Service Engineer to join our team in Glasgow, Scotland.
About the Role
As a Commercial Gas Service Engineer you will support our FM contractors and clients across the UK with safe, compliant gas appliance maintenance and repairs.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out annual and interim maintenance visits in compliance with the Gas Safety (Installation and Use) Regulations.
* Replace heating controls and components as per manufacturer’s instructions.
* Perform combustion performance analyses on gas appliances as required.
* Investigate and diagnose faults using manufacturer's technical literature.
* Respond to reported gas escapes and suspected fumes in line with safety regulations.
Qualifications and Experience
* Domestic ACS qualifications: CCN1, CENWAT, HTR1, CKR1, DAH1, CPA1.
* Commercial ACS qualifications: COCN1, ICPN1, TPCP1, TPCP1A, CORT1, CIGA1.
* Demonstrated high standards of working practice and leadership.
* Good awareness of health and safety regulations.
* Full clean and current driving licence.
