As a Cleaning Supervisor with ISS UK, you will play a key part in delivering a world class housekeeping service, maintaining the highest quality and consistency for our customers and colleagues.
The main purpose is to manage all aspects of the mobile cleaning operation at DEFRA sites through effective team management, cost control, and the setting of high standards.
The Role
1. Support and guide operatives to achieve service levels for cleaning services regionally.
2. Regular checks and cleans to specified areas in accordance with the specification.
3. Respond to cleaning requests as required.
4. Follow company procedures and systems as laid down.
5. Adhere to DEFRA security procedures and policies at all times
6. Maintain relationships with customers and fellow employees.
7. Control and maintenance of all consumable stocks and equipment at each site.
8. Ensure opening and lockup procedure including alarms is known for each location.
9. Ensure store-rooms are tidy and stock stored correctly.

13. Be able to communicate with all site users in a polite manner.
14. Have a good eye for detail and clean to an exceptional standard.
15. The ability to work on own initiative.
16. Strong leadership skills.
17. Relevant experience in cleaning and supervision of cleaning procedures.
