A highly supportive specialist school near Hoddesdon is looking for enthusiastic and caring Teaching Assistants to join their team. The school supports pupils aged 219 with severe learning difficulties, complex needs and challenging behaviour. Staff work in a warm, collaborative environment with excellent facilities and resources.

Key Responsibilities
Support pupils with personal care, social development, hygiene, first aid and general welfare
Provide administrative support to teachers (photocopying, filing, record keeping)
Assist with planning and delivering individual education plans
Monitor pupil progress and maintain accurate records
Use specialist knowledge or experience to support learning
Build positive relationships with parents, carers and external professionals
Promote inclusion and help pupils integrate with peers
Support pupils during swimming or hydrotherapy sessions
What Were Looking For
You do not need previous experience as a Teaching Assistant. Applicants with backgrounds in care, childcare, youth work or supporting vulnerable people are encouraged to apply.
