Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Registered Manager to take the lead in our well-established 2-bed EBD children's home. This role is ideal for someone with strong leadership skills and a commitment to delivering the highest standards of care and compliance.
Responsibilities
* Lead, manage and inspire your team to provide outstanding care and support to children with emotional and behavioural difficulties (EBD).
* Ensure the home is run in line with Ofsted compliance, Children's Homes Regulations, and Quality Standards.
* Take overall responsibility for safeguarding, ensuring the safety and wellbeing of the children at all times.
* Oversee the recruitment, training and development of staff to maintain a skilled and motivated team.
* Manage budgets, resources and daily operations to ensure the home runs smoothly and efficiently.
* Work closely with Ofsted, local authorities, and other professionals to build strong partnerships and maintain excellent outcomes.
* Develop and implement care plans that meet the individual needs of each child, supporting them to achieve their full potential.
Experience
* Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare (or working towards).
* Proven experience as a Registered Manager or Deputy Manager in a children's residential setting.
* Strong knowledge of Ofsted inspections, compliance, and safeguarding legislation.
* Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
* A passion for supporting children with EBD and a commitment to achieving positive outcomes.
