About the Opportunity
We are seeking two enthusiastic and motivated Registered Community Mental Health Nurses (RMN), one to join our Adult Community Mental Health Team and one to join our Child and Adolescent Mental Health Team. These posts are being recruited at Band 6 under Annex 21, with a structured development programme supporting progression to Band 6 once required competencies, autonomous practice, and professional development goals are met. This is normally achieved within 12-24 months. These are excellent opportunities for a newly registered Mental Health nurse or someone wishing to develop specialist community mental health skills in a supportive team environment.

You do not need prior experience in a Community Mental Health Team — full training and supervision are provided.

Closing date for applications is 26th March 2026 with interviews being held on Thursday 23rd April 2026.
As from 1st April 2026 the Agenda for Change full-time working week will be reducing from 37 to 36 hours per week. Part time hours will be reduced pro-rata. However, there will be a corresponding increase in the hourly rate so that pay will not be affected.
Due to legislative changes from 1 April 2025, this post may require a different level of criminal records check done than is currently the case. If the post is assessed as a "regulated role", your appointment will be subject to joining the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme. If there is any change to what is currently required, this will be confirmed by either the Hiring Manager or the Recruitment Team.
