Your new role
A great opportunity for an organised and detail‑focused interim Finance Assistant to join a supportive and forward‑thinking finance team. This role involves maintaining accurate financial records, processing high volumes of invoices, and supporting the wider finance function in delivering an efficient and reliable service.
Key duties include:
1. Processing 50–100 purchase invoices per day
2. Matching, batching and coding invoices accurately
3. Supplier statement reconciliations and resolving discrepancies
4. Preparing and posting journals
5. Processing BACs payment runs
6. Managing the AP inbox and responding to supplier queries
7. Assisting with month‑end duties, including accruals
8. Supporting the wider finance team with general administration

10. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
11. Attention to detail
12. Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with accounting systems (Openbooks experience is a plus)
