Our client is a growing engineering manufacturing business that provides custom components for leading companies in the civil and construction industries. They are currently looking for an experienced QHS and E Manager to oversee all Health, Safety, Environment and Quality processes.
Role And Responsibilities
* Ensure compliance with ISO 45001 standards and Health and Safety Regulations.
* Look after approvals and first‑off article inspections.
* Act as the main point of contact for customer audits and external assessments.
* Develop and implement procedures to monitor the performance of the QMS, manage internal audits and process safety incidents.
* Provide regular reports to senior management on both quality and health safety matters.
Experience And Skills
* Experience of working in a quality‑led environment.
* Experience in a manufacturing/production environment, ideally in heavier engineering.
* Understanding of hazardous area quality systems.
* Knowledge of ISO 45001 would be a strong advantage.
Remuneration And Benefits
* £50,000 – £60,000
