The Role
We are seeking a dynamic and driven New Car Sales Manager to lead the sales operation at our client’s prestigious dealership in Yeovil. This is an exciting opportunity to represent a leading premium brand and take responsibility for delivering exceptional results across volume, profitability, and customer experience.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the new car sales team, driving performance, maximising sales opportunities, and ensuring the dealership consistently delivers an outstanding level of service to every customer.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead, motivate, and develop the new car sales team to achieve and exceed sales targets and KPIs.
* Deliver volume and profitability objectives in line with manufacturer and dealership expectations.
* Ensure an outstanding customer journey at every stage of the sales process.
* Monitor and manage stock levels, pipeline, and display standards.
* Drive effective enquiry management, lead conversion, and customer retention activities.
* Work closely with senior management to deliver business plans and brand standards.
* Analyse sales performance, implement improvement strategies, and report regularly on progress.
* Ensure compliance with FCA regulations and company policies.
About You
* Proven experience as a Sales Manager within a franchised dealership, ideally in the premium/luxury segment.
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire, coach, and motivate a sales team.
* A results-driven mindset with a track record of achieving targets.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
* Strong commercial awareness with the ability to manage stock and maximise profit opportunities.
* Committed to delivering exceptional levels of customer service.
* FCA accreditation and a full UK driving licence are essential.
