Our Transformation Portfolio Management Office (PMO) is focused on creating a centralised portfolio that drives change, transformation and continuous improvement. We’re looking for two Benefits and Efficiencies Analysts to join the team.
The team shapes and optimises project Portfolios, ensuring strategic alignment, enhances decision-making, and provides evidence to manage risk across change and transformation. This role offers hands-on experience in change and transformation with development opportunities and strong support from the team.
You will be an important part of our PMO, analysing data from PMO colleagues and project/programme managers across the portfolio, helping to establish standards for benefits and value management and embedding them. You will help teams identify, value and validate their project benefits.
You’ll join the Portfolio Management Office (PMO) within the Transformation Team of the Strategy, Transformation and Assurance (STA) directorate. The PfMO supports change, transformation and continuous improvement across the business. STA fosters inclusive, supportive cultures and uses evidence and innovation to influence policy and delivery.
Responsibilities
* Join the PMO as part of the Transformation Team and contribute to portfolio analysis and benefits management.
* Analyse data from PMO colleagues and project managers to set standards for benefits and value management and embed them.
* Identify, value and validate project benefits and support decision-making across the portfolio.
Experience / Qualifications
* Strong analytical skills with proven experience as a Benefits Analyst, Efficiencies Analyst, or Business Analyst.
* Proven experience building and maintaining dashboards or reporting tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau, or advanced Excel).
* Ability to work collaboratively across organisational boundaries and build constructive relationships.
* Clear communication skills, able to explain complex analysis simply to non-technical audiences.
* Self-motivation and adaptability, able to work independently and as part of a team.
* Experience producing guidance, toolkits or frameworks to support colleagues.
* Experience working with diverse teams and encouraging consideration of diversity issues in work.
* Development opportunities and training will be provided.
Additional information
* You will have an inclusive incident management objective in your development plan. Training will be provided. The role is hybrid with an EA Office base location; travel and overnights may be required.
