About the Practice This RCVS-accredited Tier 3 hospital and training practice is fully equipped with advanced diagnostic and surgical facilities, including: Digital X-ray Ultrasound Endoscopy and dental radiography CO₂ laser Laparoscopic (keyhole) surgery equipment 64-slice CT scanner 5T MRI scanner The practice has a strong focus on clinical excellence, professional development, and certificate-led progression, making it an ideal environment for vets looking to advance their careers. The Role The successful candidate will join a collaborative and experienced veterinary team and will be responsible for: Delivering high-quality consultations and case workups Performing routine surgeries including neutering and minor procedures Undertaking sole charge branch work (approximately 50% of the role), with the option for branch-only work supported by the main hospital The role provides exposure to a varied caseload and the opportunity to work alongside certificate holders in medicine, surgery, and diagnostic imaging, as well as colleagues currently pursuing further qualifications. Working Pattern & Flexibility 4-day working week Weekend rota: 1 in 8 full weekends (Saturday & Sunday), or 2 Saturdays and 1 Sunday in 8 weeks Occasional out-of-hours cover for holiday or sickness Flexible working options are available and can be tailored to suit individual preferences.
