General operative

We are recruiting GENERAL OPERATIVES for our client based in Swadlincote, DE11. This is working for a long-established manufacturing business that produce items for the construction industry. The company has been manufacturing since 1989 and operate from modern production facilities serving customers across the UK and Ireland. Shifts are permanent afternoons Monday - Thursday 2pmPM & Friday 2PM - 8PM Key Responsibilities: Operating manufacturing machinery and production equipment - including press machines Loading and unloading materials safely Assisting with fabrication, assembly, and finishing processes Conducting quality checks to ensure products meet company standards Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised work environment Following all health and safety procedures Supporting team members to achieve production targets What We're Looking For: Experience working in a manufacturing environment is essential Strong work ethic and willingness to learn Good attention to detail Ability to work effectively as part of a team Positive attitude and reliable attendance record Flexibility to work shifts and overtime when required Pay: £13.10 per hour Temp - Perm opportunities for the right candidate after 13 weeks You must be available to attend a registration this week and induction on Friday If you are motivated, dependable, and looking to build a career within a successful manufacturing environment, we would love to hear from you - please APPLY NOW!
