Hosted by North Cheshire and Mersey NHS Foundation Trust, the NW Skills Development Network is an innovative Learning and Development Network that supports NHS employees from across the North West working in Finance, Digital, Data, Technology and Procurement.
The NW Digital Skills Development (DSD) Network is supporting the roll-out and development of other regional Digital Skills Development Networks in England and an exciting opportunity has arisen for a Digital Skills Development Network Admin Support Officer who will support the National Digital Skills Development Lead by providing day‑to‑day admin support for the delivery and management of various projects, programmes and events.
The post holder, working with a highly motivated team constantly aiming to improve service delivery to external stakeholders, will need to have experience in providing a high quality, comprehensive and effective administrative support service which will support the delivery of a wide range of programmes on both a regional and national level.
The post holder's contractual base will be Halton Hospital, Runcorn but home‑based working will be the norm with some travel required across the North West and nationally.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will be responsible for supporting the delivery of the bespoke digital learning and development programme, including innovation and networking events, and engaging with external stakeholders and NHS organisations across the North West and nationally.
The post holder will also provide a high quality, comprehensive and effective administrative support service to the National Digital Skills Development Manager. This will include supporting the delivery of a wide range of programmes on both a regional and national basis.

Person Specification
Experience
* Experience of working in a busy admin department / office
* Experience of using social media to promote a business
* Experience of organising events/meeting with multiple stakeholders
* Experience of developing databases, including the manipulation of complex data streams
* Experience with publishing packages (e.g. Canva)
Qualifications
* Educated to NVQ Level 4 in a relevant subject or equivalent level of qualification or significant equivalent previous proven experience
* Microsoft MOS qualification or equivalent
* IT literate, including experience of using Word, Excel and PowerPoint
* Advanced keyboard skills for use of computerised systems
* Excellent administration and business support skills
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills including the ability to communicate in a clear and articulate manner to staff at all levels
* Able to demonstrate integrity and discretion when working with confidential matters
* The ability to develop solutions to complex, multifaceted challenges
* Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
* Excellent organisation skills and a self‑starter who can work with little supervision
* Able to work to achieve agreed objectives whilst working within broad service policies
