What you’ll be doing:
* Leading a team overnight to deliver all replenishment activities across the store while actively participating in prioritising deliveries, organising the warehouse, and replenishing shelves.
* Managing a full store operation during the night shift, responsible for the safety and wellbeing of colleagues.
* Ensuring high standards are maintained to prepare the store for opening and customer service.
* Managing people, including performance, capability, disciplinary actions, scheduling, and pay.
Our nightshift managers work full-time over 4 nights, with a £4,500 premium on top of the base salary (shifts typically run from 22:00 to 08:00).
What makes a great nightshift manager:
* Comfortable with night shift work and adaptable to its physical and mental demands, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for the team.
* Experience in line management within a fast-paced, operational setting.
* Resilient to the physical and mental challenges of night work.
* Provides excellent customer service and coaches the team accordingly.
* Experience in delivering and monitoring KPIs or other performance metrics.
* Capable of managing disciplinary and performance issues.
* Comfortable leading operations independently in the absence of senior management.
