We are currently recruiting for Civil & Electrical Field Managers responsible for the day-to-day safe operation of the site and supervising all activities for ongoing New Connection & Capital Works.
The Field Manager will ensure that all site activities comply with statutory requirements and adhere to customer and company policies and standards across the Northern Powergrid (NPg) network.
Key responsibilities include:
* Ensuring adherence to Company Safety, Health, Environmental, and Quality policies.
* Managing site safety and operations.
* Training and ensuring the competence of personnel under control.
* Promoting best practices and innovative ideas.
* Supporting incident investigations.
* Upholding the company's core values.
* Maintaining up-to-date records and registers daily.
* Managing and delivering the Connection Workstream.
* Planning outages and work schedules.
* Overseeing the performance of site teams.
Qualifications and experience required:
* Experience in the utility industry, preferably with NPg.
* Experience with UG Electricity Networks.
* CDM Site Management experience.
* Excellent organizational and programming skills.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills for building relationships at all levels.
* NEBOSH/SMSTS Level Safety accreditation (desirable).
* Emergency First Aid certification.
* NRSWA qualification.
* Full Driving Licence.
