Job Introduction
A new opportunity has arisen for a Marketing Coordinator to scope, plan, and deliver marketing and communications activities to promote our Talking Therapy services as part of Total Wellbeing Luton.
If you’re excited about working in a values-oriented environment to develop content and campaigns that help people access the support they need, we’d love to hear from you!
You’ll be based in our central Luton hub, with some home working available. Reporting into the Central Marketing team, you’ll also be part of a wider community of marketing professionals within the organization.
Role Responsibilities
With specific targets for the number of people using the service, you’ll need to create communications and execute marketing activities using online and offline channels to drive demand from specific population groups in the community.
You will do this by:
* Identifying target audiences and effective outreach methods
* Delivering promotional activities to increase referrals, including community outreach
* Creating and executing a content strategy to build communities and increase workshop registrations
* Developing messages that resonate with different audiences
* Reporting on activity linked to the communications plan and performance metrics
* Managing and editing the service website
* Managing social media and creating content
* Developing local mental health awareness campaigns alongside the service lead
* Liaising with local authorities, public health, commissioners, and healthcare professionals to build relationships and distribute communications
* Highlighting concerns and presenting solutions as appropriate
* Training and upskilling operational and clinical staff to produce their own communications
* Attending and contributing to relevant meetings such as performance reviews and marketing updates
The Ideal Candidate
To be considered, you should have previous experience in marketing or communications, including creating online and offline content, and managing social media accounts independently.
Sector experience isn’t necessary, but understanding the needs of the people we support is preferred.
* You should be comfortable taking a hands-on approach, writing your own copy, designing assets, and presenting your work to stakeholders
* You should be results-driven and pragmatic in improving against objectives
* You should enjoy working independently while being collaborative and inclusive of others’ ideas
* You should be organized, detail-oriented, and methodical
* You should have a flair for storytelling and engaging content creation
* You should be positive, resourceful, and action-oriented
