As the Production Planner make a real impact on this manufacturing business by analysing, reviewing, and planning.
As the Production Planner for a busy manufacturing site, you’ll report into the Planning Manager.
Due to continued growth and development of this successful manufacturing company this newly created role offers you the opportunity to apply your skill set and grow within a global business.
As part of the planning team, you will work for an established business who have a number of sites in the UK and around the world, they manufacture top quality products and supply a diverse range of customers both locally and internationally.
This role will suit a planning professional who has worked as a Production Planner or similar with experience of working in a UK food or FMCG manufacturing environment.
Day-to-day you’ll be responsible for developing a production schedule for one or multiple products. You’ll detail all tasks and when they should be completed by to meet predicted completion dates.
To be considered for this role you will need:
1. A detailed knowledge of production planning and scheduling, inventory control, and materials requirements planning
2. MRP system experience
3. The capacity to communicate and present data clearly and effectively
4. The ability to resolve problems in an efficient manner
5. To be proactive in approach to managing tasks and ability to work to deadlines
6. Strong IT skills
7. A working knowledge of D would be advantageous
