The Role:
Responsibilities:
* Ensure all products and processes meet quality, safety, efficiency, and reliability standards.
* Review, analyze, report, and improve external and internal defects.
* Lead reject reduction initiatives internally and externally, coordinating improvement actions with cross-functional teams.
* Develop plans to reduce non-conforming products within production.
* Perform routine internal quality audits and ensure closure of non-conformances.
* Manage third-party reworks at customers, aiming to eliminate defects at source and minimize rework costs.
* Maintain customer relationships through ongoing liaison, support, and complaint resolution.
* Respond promptly to customer issues and maintain relevant documentation.
Qualifications and Experience:
* Third-level qualification in an engineering or technical discipline, or relevant experience with a commitment to personal development.
* Proficiency in IT and MS Excel.
* Experience with problem-solving techniques.
* Experience in manufacturing or customer-facing environments.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
* Ability to manage multiple tasks accurately and work independently or as part of a team.
* Ability to see activities through to completion.
* Second European language (desirable).
