We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Endpoint Management Solution Architect for an exciting new challenge.
The Opportunity:
We are looking for a knowledgeable, proactive, and well-rounded solution architect with experience in delivering services at scale to complex IT environments. The successful candidate will lead and contribute to projects delivering the Supported Desktop Service at the University of Edinburgh.
The Supported Desktop Service is essential for staff and students, currently supporting approximately 20,000 endpoints, serving over 15,000 staff and 50,000 students, with hundreds of managed applications for teaching and learning. The post-holder will provide technical leadership and coordinate work within the team on projects benefiting the entire university community.
To succeed, you should have expert knowledge of Windows OS, experience with Microsoft Configuration Manager (SCCM/MECM or Intune), familiarity with ITIL frameworks, and substantial experience in large-scale IT service provision.
You will also have experience working with senior decision-makers and be comfortable communicating with colleagues and stakeholders at all levels.
