Role Overview
Are you a scroll-stopping storyteller passionate about social media? Join our dynamic world of pubs and bars as a creative, proactive, and plugged-in Social Media Executive. You will support planning, creation, and execution of engaging social content, promote website content, grow an engaged audience, and build a strong social presence. The role emphasizes delivering commercial value by supporting event sponsors and digital partners.
Key Responsibilities
1. Planning and collaborating on content calendar
2. Generating creative ideas with the team
3. Engaging with communities across Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram
4. Participating in trending discussions to keep channels relevant
5. Scheduling and publishing performance-driven content
6. Covering live events, capturing behind-the-scenes moments
7. Tracking analytics, spotting trends, and turning insights into ideas
8. Collaborating with editorial and events teams
9. Visiting operators to gather content and insights
10. Assisting in judging the UK’s largest pub awards
Requirements
* Ability to analyze data and make insights-driven decisions
* Familiarity with social media management tools (e.g., Sprout, Buffer, Hootsuite)
* Strong creative thinking and content production skills
* Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
* Strong communication skills and teamwork abilities
* Understanding of social media trends and best practices
* Experience with paid social media campaigns is desirable but not essential
